my goodies from goodwill include a cutesy floral box & vintage floral lamp, all for a whopping total of $3. i can't pass on anything with flowers. i want to die and come back as a daisy in a field.

hooray for domesticity!
today i burned my wrist whilst taking a casserole out of the oven. the awe of my own domesticity was more shocking than the burning flesh. and now i appear suicidal to the rest of the world. that's ok.

apartmento
apartmento is one of those magazines i would order if it weren't $20 bucks an issue. it's an interiors journal that takes you on photo tours through the homes and gardens of celebs/artisits/all around cool people. i was really eager to get my little hands on this issue to see chole sevigny's manhattan apartment, but then i found the it posted on one of my favorite blogs, ringo have a banana! special thanks to that lovely lady for the leg work. if the text is too small for your eyes here, check it out on her site. it's well worth the read. or just take a gander at her blog anyway because it is all things cute and marvelous.
p.s. can i please live in the trippy acid floral room?

cold hands touching my face
i've been on the lookout for strange/gaudy earrings to cover my saggy, formerly stretched ear lobes. total less than $25 all together thanks to several little vintage shops in town.
